Cricket, Golf, Football, all played with the same ball... a disgusting lump of introduced pest- a cane toad.  They have also started making fertaliser out of them and once a year some places have a bounty on their head for a day or week or something.  Every year they spread further south taking over the habitat of our native frogs... but I wont hold that againt Burt.  In fact I wouldn&amp;#39;t hold anything against Burt, I wouldn&amp;#39;t go near him with a 10 foot pole... I sit here reading with my almost 6 yr...</title><content type='html'>Ok, funny.  I sit here reading with my almost 6 yr old girl over my shoulder....she sees the pic &amp;quot;oh, there&amp;#39;s a toad&amp;quot;  Yes, she and I share your lack of ability to differentiate such creatures.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And I totally hear you..how odd it is that the children say they &amp;#39;know&amp;#39; this is &amp;#39;the&amp;#39; particular creature that abides outdoors.  The creature which has no collar or tag or other such device so as to let others know WHO he is. Yeah. Mine know lizards. Green Anoles to be precise.  They have had several over the summer (er, years actually) here at the house, this house and our previous home, as well as the school where we meet for church.  Yes.  They &amp;#39;have&amp;#39; and have named SEVERAL. And know every. single. one of them. They all look like lizards to me.  But they know one from the other. Emma from Brite. Mary from Isaac. Amanda from Benny. And so on.  Crazy. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Some of ours aren&amp;#39;t so &amp;#39;self sufficient&amp;#39; though as they have been taken into the home.
