My daughter (almost 3) loves to be read too (Even though she knows most of the books by heart, and corrects me if I use the wrong word, even the wrong preposition!) But we are still at the stage where you read Corduroy, One Morning in Maine, Madeleine . . . can't wait to progress to books I would enjoy re-reading like Pilgrim's Progress!
My son (just 16 months old) barely sits still at all. But in a couple of years, I'm hoping that he'll be enjoying listening along with his sister.
I remember these precious times with my mom. :-)

I am definitely going to have to look for this. I remember my mom reading it to us when I was young and have wanted to read it to my own chickies, but it is just not at their level yet. Maybe this one..

We're using Sonlight for the first time this year (after 18 years of homeschooling), and I am so enjoying (and looking forward to) all of the read aloud time.
