How thrilled I was last week to learn that Legacy of Hope Austin was the winner of a Facebook contest put on by the good folks at Good Choices Good Life Bracelets. Your vote helped get us a $1 per every bracelet purchased over this next year. Just by clicking, you've helped us provide more dance classes for kids with special needs, more date night child care for parents of children with special needs and more personalized tutoring for kiddos with learning differences. You did that. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
How about doing a little more? Huh?!?
I've had the opportunity to get to know an amazing woman, a film maker and social media expert by the name of Erin Levin. Erin is a person of passion and vision. She is presently fundraising for production of a film about the African Children's Choir. This amazing group will actually be performing at my church, LifeAustin, on Christmas Eve this year and we can't wait to have them. Erin is excited to tell the story of the choir through the venue of film about this incredible group and what opportunities are available to the children of Uganda for education and experience.
Here's where you come in. Simply go to this link and click the 'Vote for this' button. You can vote once a day until October 31st. Getting the word out about the African Children's Choir through the venue of film will open up more opportunities for these amazing kids to perform and receive an education. You can make a huge difference in the lives of these kids and all it takes is a little aerobic button clicking on your part.
I'm so thankful for you, my Dear Readers, for your willingness to take our little blog world and to expand it into venues that can change lives. Thank you so much!
