We got to all sing happy birthday to 5 of 8 Sunday night.
He'd been waiting...waiting for 2 of 8 to arrive home from New York.
And as a bonus, Da Boy is also here, visiting again.
We love it when Da Boy is here.
So we gathered and sang and ate yet the third of 5 of 8's celebratory cakes (we had one on the actual day, candle-laden donuts with friends and finally, this version) and I captured a pic with all the crew.
It feels nice to have a full nest again, even if just for a few days.
Because Da Boy leaves again at the end of the week.
And 1 of 8 leaves for the Sorbonne at the end of the month.
But I'm not going to think about that right now.
