The winter round of auditions and competition schedule for 2 of 8.
It gets a little crazy.
But I suppose anything that is a passion has a bit of crazy to it.
We worked on a few audition photographs this week, 2 of 8 twirling and hitting position and jumping and leaping.
Over and over and over.
Wanting to get just the right shot.
A lot like the art of dance itself.
Tremendous practice, repetition, adjustment, all in an effort to create a breathless moment for the audience.
All poised atop the toes.

My 2 1/2 years old saw those pictures and pointed at them and said "mama, girl nice, oh nice shoes!!!"
ReplyDeleteYou daughter has my daughters vote!!!!
I can't dance to save my life. These pictures are truly awe-inspiring. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for her. We are only at the studio two days a week this year. For that I am thankful. I think our competitions will be in April. That actually is pretty close when you think about it. Aaaaah! Best wishes on those endeavors and for your sanity.
