Extreme Home Makeover...

Ty Pennington, look out.

8 of 8 has some serious skills when it comes to changing the terrain of household decor.

He has a unique ability to walk into a room, and by the time he leaves, 8 of 8 is able to leave his own unique mark.

Take, for example, the way I have set up our family room...

room1o

And then there is the way that 8 of 8 rearranges it to his liking...

pillows3

He will literally scale the walls to give things their own unique twist...

There's the boring way I chose to place the pillows on the couch...

And then there is 8 of 8's vision...

pillows2

I created this look for the master bath...

mbath1o

But I suppose it was too pedestrian for 8 of 8...he prefers a layered look...

towels2

He prefers rooms that looked lived in...

He's pretty much a one-man cyclone at the moment, spinning through rooms and leaving a tide mark in his wake.

So memorize this face...this may be the future host of Extreme Home Makeover...

8of8edit

He's certainly getting in his fair share of practice at the moment...

  1. extreme home makeover...8 of 8 edition! that is a pretty big mess your little guy can stir up all on his own. reminds me a lot of the messes in my house, but usually the 3 help one another out!

  2. Wow, I love how innocent they look... My daughter is almost a year old... and the innocent look almost - I repeat ALMOST makes me feel guilty for accusing her of making messes... she has just figured out that books fall when you pull them off the shelf. I had forgotten all about this stage, I guess thats what a 3 year gap will do to a mom. I love what I've read from your blog - so nice. so peaceful - even in the midst of "storms".

  8. 8 of 8 would fit in with 3 of 4 and 4 of 4 at my house, along with chaos and pandemoninum the begals (btw that is not their names, but should be)

  15. It's amazing how someone so little can make such a big mess! We have a similar sectional in the exact same color of microfiber. Don't you love it? Everything comes clean off it, even sharpie and a quart of bright orange paint (don't ask me how I would know that). He's a cutie!

  16. Oh, the adventures of mothering little ones! My youngest is going to work in a laundry shop, I'm sure. She loves to "fix" the piles of folded laundry when my back is turned. Loved the pictures! BTW: I linked to you today :)

  18. Nater's idea of Extreme Makeover Home Edition involves that new "Broken Look". Right now it's usually curain rods. He likes to play Tarzan.
