6 of 8 has been hard at work, developing new theories when considering the holidays. Take for example this recent reported exchange between 6 of 8 and her best buddy, AT.
6 of 8: "Do you know the real truth about Santa?"

ReplyDeleteAlex likes to tell others that Santa died and we should be celebrating Jesus' birth!!!! YIKES!!!! I am always quick to jump in and help tell about St. Nicholas, before we have some kids that are scarred for life. :)
I love that! I have actually been struggling with the whole "Santa" thing this year. I just don't like to lie to my kids...I mean I am trying to teach them not to lie, right? My husband and I contemplated telling the kids that the gifts are from Jesus...as part of his birthday celebration. Oh the pressure of Christmas!

ReplyDeleteHah! Perhaps 6 of 8 and Sweet Son #1 have been taking the same Sunday School classes. SS#1 determined that the Jesus was the Easter Bunny because after Jesus died and rose on the third day he became the EB to deliver eggs and gifts!
