Potpourri Post Part Deux

***THIS POST SERVES AS MY LINK LIST TO MANY GREAT BLOGS.  PLEASE SCROLL DOWN A BIT TO ENTER THE LINKY LOVE PORTAL.****

So I had that little mish-mash of stuff last week, not the least of which was a section issuing apologies for those of you who should be on my Bloggin' Buds link list and also for those of you who have sent me awards and only heard crickets in return....

I also issued a lighthearted challenge that an Octamom Award, detailing my boggy award delinquency, should be developed for those of you who have experienced said bloggy award silence.

I checked my Octamom mail that afternoon.....and here is what I found...

Octamom award

This prestigious award was designed by an incredible lady, Debi B. I laughed until the one abdominal muscle left in my post-postpartum (that's not a typo) belly was sore and quivering. This may be one of my favorite gifts to receive ever. And you need to know a little about its designer. Debi B is the blog author of Who Says 8 is Enough?and is the awesome mother of NINE, yes, NINE blessings!  She is the Neufmom to my Octamom....and she has twins...and she had time to make me laugh...really hard.  Yep, I like her.

So, for all of you who have given me these little beauties...

blog (6)...feel free to grab that Octamom award and put it where ever you want...even on your blog, should you chose to do so.

Rules?

Ah, come on, you want me to make up rules for this thing?

Um, okay.

Let's see.

1.  You must eat a piece of chocolate in honor of accepting the Octamom award.
2.  You must, um.....oh, ah, eat another piece of chocolate when you put it on your blog.
3.  You must visit Debi B. by clicking here.  It's neighborly, you know.
4.  Try to go by and see the other good folks I'm going to put a link up for.
5.  Feel free to add or subtract from the rules as suits your fancy...except that chocolate one...I must insist on that.

And here's a little hit parade of Octamom buddies, just to get you started on a web session that will take you deeper and deeper into the labyrinth of Blog World.  Be sure and leave a trail of chocolate wrappers so that you can find your way out again.....

Okay, Rule #7...I will post more links of blogs I love very, very soon, so please oh please don't feel left out...but I've now been typing and linking blog addresses for far longer than a mother of eight should be...so here's me being a grown-up and bugging out....

Now I'm all worried someone's gonna feel left out--- so, Rule #8--if you also want the award, leave your name and link in the Mister Linky box and consider yourself awarded!  Is everyone happy now?  Remember to eat the chocolate--it's a rule...

You are one hysterical woman!!! lol I accept your award (and said chocolate) graciously. Thanks Octamom!!

Oh, and Debi..... shakes head. I have no idea how she has the time to do the things she does. It's such a cute award though. Thanks to Debi too!

Happy Tuesday!! :)

pssst... How's 4 doing today?

Oh boy, there is something dwelling deep inside us bloggers that just gets us all quivery when we see a link to our blog on someone else's blog. I think it might be some sort of sickness getting this excited. The cure is probably chocolate. I ate your prescribed award chocolate, I didn't have any proper chocolate so I had a Tim-tam instead. I think it passed muster, if not I will just have to go out tomorrow to buy a block and eat it then, might do that anyway now that I think of it...

What a funny sort of sisterhood... where laugh fests are welcome!! :-) I will gladly accept your award and will link it soon. :-) i am glad that you had your dose of chuckles medicine, and that you have obviously been blessed with lots of friends and "sisters." Have a great day. :-)

Thanks, sweetie. I can't figure out how to send those little buttons that go with the awards, so I just duck the whole thing.

You seriously crack me up!

Loved this. I don't qualify for any of the awards, but I decided to make up a Rule #9: Visit each blog listed and eat a piece of chocolate while there. Two pieces if I leave a comment.

I need to get to the store today. I know I'm low on dark chocolate M&Ms.

Oh, and how many M&Ms equal 1 piece of chocolate? It's obviously more than one... I think I'll go with 5.

Oh my goodness! thank you so much for the award! That is so so sweet. And I LOVE your rules. I'd say the best use of Halloween candy ever! Thank you for inspiring me and making me laugh!

I will accept any award that involves chocolate.

And sadly, I am right there with you. People keep sending me awards and memes, and I keep forgetting about them until the middle of the night when I realize that I am a horribly rude blogger. But then in the morning? When I'm writing my blog post? I forget again.

Actually, I just started my blog a few days ago,but I thought I would share, just in case it gets better.

Ohmygoodness .. I see why you have no time to post awards.

You spend it all reading blogs! And raising children! You busy bee, you :o)

I am so glad you insisted on that piece of chocolate .. I need it after reading that list ;o) and methinks you need a few extra for linking them all!

Am gonna post the handsome hybrid award and link it back yer way.

Peace, Octa!

PS LOVE me the Neuf-Mom (she is a hoot!) As a mom of merely twins, am I "bi-mom" or does that bring my sexual orientation into question?

Great work! I only have 4 kids and am not quite sure how you are able to get all of this accomplished. A real role model! Just updated the Speech Banana posting on the 'Hears' to Life! blog. Feel free to use anything that you want from the website (150 columns posted so far) as long as you acknowledge where it came from so that my editors don't get upset! Don't get paid for any of it, just trying to give back a little! Blessings!
