Wanna See a Miracle?

I've put together a little video showing the progress that 7 of 8 has made as she continues to recover from the effects of neonatal stroke.  Be sure and turn on your audio so you can hear the my narration of 7 of 8's therapy and recovery.

  5. That's so wonderful! I'll bet it has a lot to do with all those sibs who are helping out!

I love the knee crawling! My #5 did that forever. The knees on her pants were frightful.

  23. That is wonderful. Thank you for sharing this. She is so precious and such a hard little worker. I work in PT myself and there is nothing more rewarding that seeing our patients make progress.

  24. YOU ARE AMAZING! I know how hard it is to rise above a difficult situation. We are given two choices, feel sorry, sad, angry etc..or get up each day and fight to make things better! That fight is NOT easy. We may make it look that way but every minute of every day is a difficult journey. BUT, man does it pay off!

I am crying while writing this because my heart goes out to you and I understand how much love, support and work you must put into overcoming this. I work daily to overcome my tragedy and challenges. I have found that while something terrible happened in my life it has made me into such a stronger, happier, deeper, wiser person.

God Bless you and your wonderful family!

  25. Praise The Lord and keep it coming 7 of 8!

I had a friend in GA whose son had a stroke within 24 hours of birth. They said he'd never be "normal." Doesn't the Bible say don't tempt the Lord thy God?? Braden is Fully Healed. As "normal" as little boys come.

Our God Is Mighty To Save.
    Blessings, Whitney

  26. Yay! So happy to see that she's doing what she should be. Such a relief when things happen, maybe not in our time, but in God's time, all will be well.

  27. Well done!
I hadn't realized that one of your twins had suffered a stroke in utero. My twin daughter, Emma, did as well and it effected her right side. Her twin brother also has CP, which turned out to actually be more severe than Emma's stroke.
It really is AMAZING how well a baby's brain can recover from these types of injuries. It looks like your little girl is going to amaze everyone just as much as Emma amazed everyone here.
Well done to her and you :)

  31. She is doing great! It's really fun to see her in action. My youngest 2 did the "army" crawl so long I was beginning to wonder... I just thank God for 7of8s complete healing in Jesus' name. To Him be all the glory. She is so lucky to have her family helping and praying and supporting her.

  33. I am overjoyed at her progress! This really did bring a tear to my eye (and down my cheek). I love how proud you are of her, and how you see that this is a miracle. God is so good. Maybe it is just because I am an OT or maybe because I am a mom...this really touches me!

I know it's been hard work for all of you, but what wonderful things you've done to help her. She is a little miracle, but so are you Octamom. :) You're all in my thoughts and prayers.
