Remember when I showed you multiple uses for the item that I tend to stockpile the most?
Remember when you saw those pictures of the kids using that item for phonics lessons and building blocks and all sorts of reindeer games?
I seem to have forgotten one other game.
I learned of it first through sound effects.
From a short distance, it sounds kind of like a wet 'kerplunk', followed by a moist 'squish', immediately followed by a loud "Yeah" and the sound of sopping applause.
It looks something like this...

As it's a relatively new sport around here, I'll be sure and post further rules and regulations should they arise. At this point, I believe the point of the game is to slam dunk as many rolls of TP as possible before your mother catches you. And you have to applaud yourself after every dunk. And you have to get as wet as possible. And you have to be charming when you are caught.
Please contact me about possible franchise opportunities. TP Bowl Ball is gonna go big....I can tell.
Your One-Stop Resource for all things TP,

Wow, 8 0f 8 looks like such a big boy playing TP Bowl Ball! And he definitely has the charming thing down pat ;)
ReplyDelete{{hugs}}
Steph
Looks like a blast I think I will try it as soon as I run out and buy some TP seeing how unlike you I RAN OUT!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I need to take some lessons from you..lol
I especially love that he claps for himself afterwards. LOL
ReplyDeletewhat a cutie!betsy did the very same thing last week- except no wrapper on, so it was quite the yucky mess!
ReplyDeleteI shared with some friends this weekend about your TP pictures. They have loads of it also and I suggested that they have some fun with their kids. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWe are miles ahead of you in the toilet olympics.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great mom you are. I bet you couldn't even get that mad with the camera in your hands.
ReplyDeleteWe've been playing TP Bowl Ball for years! Isn't it fun?
ReplyDeleteHehehe That's so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteToo funny. My littles do this too.
ReplyDeleteI know my son would be a big fan of TP Bowl Ball. Glad he hasn't decided to play any "bowl" games as of yet.
ReplyDeleteAt least the wrapper is still on--my kids throw it in without the wrapper! Talk about good times!!
ReplyDeleteJust wait until he gets older, then it becomes "Paper Wads On The Ceiling". It's more of a challenge to look charming when you get caught at the age of 16, but that just adds to the excitement.
ReplyDeleteI am so afraid of this. I have a toilet germ phobia. I have my toilet paper locked up in the cellar. And, I'm completely with you on this.....I stock up on toilet paper. I purchase by the case and seriously, the neighbors have commented that they suspect we have colon problems. :)
ReplyDeleteToo cute! I'm wondering if they're both playing? Usually, it's one or the other egging the other one on. He looks so cute applauding himself!
ReplyDeleteTOO funny. What is so da gone fun about playing in the toilet? Maybe I'm just paranoid mine will drink out of it like the cat. (they've eaten out of the dog dish like the dog...) I need to go scrub mine now!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy little mischief-maker. :P
ReplyDeleteThat is always fun at that age - my daughter used to dunk her dolls. So cute!!
ReplyDeleteFun fun! When my sister was little, she threw an entire skein (is that how you spell it?) of yarn in the toilet and flushed it down. Well, it got stuck somewhere in the wall and the plumber had to come save the day.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a much cheaper way to have fun!
My son would totally love this game.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
And .... also gross.
When my two younger brothers (me and my first brother are 14 months apart, and the two of them are 15 months apart) and I were in our first years of life, we enjoyed going 'fishing' in the potty. There wasn't actually anything to fish for .. we just enjoyed rolling off long lines of paper and dipping them in, yelling things like, "Oh I got a big one!" For some reason, our mom never caught us in this game .. we enjoyed telling her about it when we were teenagers. The look on her face was priceless :o)
ReplyDeleteCute! My daughter likes the game "how many times can I flush the toilet". :) Maybe we should write a book on toilet games! Defiitely a best seller. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Haaa haaaa!!! love it. Loved the pictures! Hmmm. I really hope that particular sport does not catch on here!!!! haaa haaa
ReplyDeleteHah! Cute. My little guy never did this. But our little dog sure does like to fetch tp from the bathroom garbage and eat it. Gross.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment at my blog. I looked up that song and it is by Jeremy Riddle so you got the Jeremy part right :)
ReplyDeleteBut haha that game sounds so interesting and the pictures are too cute. Whenever I have kids I will definately have to note this and keep an eye out for the sounds.
Hope you have a good day. Blessings.
That is AWESOME! He's so cute! We dont buy individually wrapped tp, so I'd be a bit miffed if I found Gabe doing this!
ReplyDeleteCool Game! Put me down for a t-shirt!!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't he look so proud of himself!!! WTG little man great job on the slam dunk!
Hahaha! We have played TP bowl in our hour too. Unfortunately it was with unwrapped rolls. Not my most favorite activity :) I don't even know why we bother buying toys with all the fun kids can get outta household items. :)
ReplyDeleteEwwww. Cute, but ewwww. :)
ReplyDeleteI love it that you were so cool about this. You didn't freak, you just took photos. That's awesome!
ReplyDeleteSo cute by the way. Such a proud little baby face! :)
I too have a thing for Toilet Paper. All of our bathrooms and the laundry room are brimming with rolls of toilet paper. Thank goodness that was an wrapped roll. My little ones favorite pastime is unrolling the whole roll. Cheapskate mom that I am, I just make a kid roll it back up :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a very good thing the toilet paper had plastic on it. Over here, Toilet Paper Bowl becomes Toilet Paper Soak, where the goal is to soak the roll as often as you can, to see if it will expand bigger than the bowl. It seems to be a popular game at our house also. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy youngest would LOVE to join in on that game!
ReplyDeleteTina sent me over here...
ReplyDeleteToo funny!
Oh Gosh I have a few that love this game!!!
ReplyDeleteYay! Just deduct that expense from his allowance later. ;) I am so glad that I'm not the only one to have to fish the TP from the stool. It is a universal sport! Kinda like soccer. One day, this too shall pass...
ReplyDeleteMy #5 and #6 had fun one day flushing duplo blocks. Well, some of them didn't go all the way down. The bathroom flood loosened up the plaster ceiling and walls in the hallway below the bathroom. Which, of course, led to another long, drawn out remodelling project, as hubby tore the walls and ceilings out in the up and down stairs hallways. He told me he would have it back together before the baby was born. That baby was 4 before my dad came down and helped us put it back together. The sound of little boys giggling and the toilet flushing is not a good thing. :)
ReplyDeleteCute, huh? We have our own toliet bowl games right now -- 14 month old in the house! Cute, sweet times.

ReplyDeleteOh how I remember the days of toilet dunking games!!! One of my most memerable was when my oldest, then 2 years old, said "come mommy...I made you soup!" He led me to the bathroom. Yes...I knew it was going to be bad... he had one of his toys as the spoon... and was stirring around ALL of my makeup in the toilet! ALL of it!! My brushes too! UGG. But he was so cute... making me soup and all!
ReplyDeleteWish I had a picture to remember it by like you do! Oh... all the wonderful memories!
Oooh, that would have indeed been an exciting thing to hear off in the distance...
ReplyDeleteHave I told you about how my brother and I TP'd the house (with WET TP, mind you) when my mom was on the phone once?
Needless to say, she wasn't about to take pictures of it or start franchising.
Yeah, I am in on the franchise!!! The other franchise I want to start is cell phones in the toliet! I'd make a killing just at our house
ReplyDeleteWe like to make ours into giant spit wads using only toilet water. The object is to cover as much of the walls and mirror as possible. Extra points for hitting the ceiling. Maybe we can combine and get some serious sponsors!
ReplyDeleteHa! He's adorable, that's for sure. My son discovered the joy of TP decorating last week. He's brilliant at it. ;)
ReplyDeleteoh boy! at least yours only dropped in one, and it was wrapped, at that. i guess you could fish it out and still use it? head on over to my site and see what betsy did today. i only turned my back for a mintue- promise!
