That's usually not a good sign.
Let's see....this one looks hard at work...

And this one seems to be on page...

Ah, the young scholars....

Wait a minute...there's a trail....

A trail of tine and of ladle...

I wonder if I can photoshop my grout...
Hark, the trail grows warmer!

Ah ha! Cabinet Pirates!!!

Pillaging the plastic utensil pile!!!

They certainly are a jolly bunch of renegades...

Wonder if I could give them some pre-preschool credit for Kitchen Utensil Development Studies....

I am laughing at your cabinet pirates. How cute. Of course, I'm not the one having to clean up after them, am I?
ReplyDeleteI love your blog.
Your cabinet pirates are simply adorable! And your blog makes me smile every day. :o)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smile! I loved following the trail......the twins' expressions were fun to read. To me, 8 was saying "Great, here's Mom - fun's over?". 7 seemed to be saying"Ha, she caught us. Give her a smile and keep up the mischief." What a cute blog entry!
ReplyDeleteAs a mother of 20 month old twins, I can TOTALLY relate to the mischief and "trouble" that double can bring. In return though are the great doubles, hugs, kisses, laughter! Oh how sweet, loving and wonderful it can be. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCute pictures adorable kids.I bet they were having a blast playing with them.
ReplyDeleteBoy they're getting big now and into mischief!! 7 looks so cute in that last photo! And she's getting hair! Love it... I always know something's up when it's quiet... unless Dora or Diego are on TV!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable is that? (said the mother in Minnesota who isn't responsible for cleaning up the trail) How can you be mad at faces like that? I would have cracked up. Blessings, Whitney
ReplyDeleteVery nice photographs. :) Your subjects are so cute!
ReplyDeleteWhen all is quiet...don't celebrate, but search! heehee
I've missed you.......they definitely deserve some credit. That's some hard work they were up to! :)
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are cute pirates!! I wouldn't worry, they look harmless!
ReplyDeleteHey, at least they are being responsible...no knives, just spoons and forks! So cute.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing pics of your babies. It reminds me of when my own b/g twins were toddlers. They're 11 now and soo big :(
ReplyDeleteI agree, love seeing the kids. Oh this was so cute. What a sweet and silly post. But then I aways enjoy your posts.
ReplyDeleteMy sister had a thing for utensils when she was their age. Only the brilliant babes do, right?!
ReplyDeleteJust look at all those great pics!! Blogging saves another kid...ever notice how you're willing to over look certain things since you started blogging if it makes for a good post? Or is that just me? :)
ReplyDeleteAt least its an easy clean up this time...the other day I followed a trail of cherry flavored kool-aid powder and a trickle of water. Not fun.
oh the joys of being a kid again.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! They are enjoying their studies for sure!
ReplyDeleteThat is really funny. I love seeing all of your children. They are beautiful and very entertaining.
ReplyDeleteJust too too funny. Who do you think the ring leader is????
ReplyDeletecould your children BE any cuter?
ReplyDeleteso cute - they look so proud of themselves! At first I thought she had her hand in a bag of marshmallows!
ReplyDeleteHee hee! I love it! In the sense that it's quite cute...
ReplyDelete...and I don't have to clean it up!
ROFL i laughed out loud at this and my hubby came to see..he thinks the twins ROCK! Do you think it may have been a hunger hint? LOL
ReplyDeleteAwesome post..pictures really do paint a thousand words :)
I think 7 of 8 is the ring leader. Look at that face! So cute!
ReplyDeleteCabinet Pirates - CUTE!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I am loving this post..
ReplyDeleteTo much cuteness..
They're so cute! Nice photography.
ReplyDeleteNow you know what to get them for their birthday!!
ReplyDeleteEducation-wise, those aren't plastic utensils, they're "manipulatives." ;) Love it when they keep themselves occupied at such a young age. Did you gripe at one of the older ones because they "let" the twins get into that? Because, that is something I would do. I know, no mom-of-the-year award for me.
ReplyDeleteSorting is a pre-reading skill...
ReplyDeleteLove the title and the pics. You must have eyes in the back of your head!
ReplyDeleteHow much fun! Those are great sots. Explorers. Curious kiddos!
ReplyDeleteoops Those are great shots.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a great way of telling your tales. Such a cute post :)
ReplyDeleteahhhhhhh
ReplyDeletethe adventures of toddlers.....

Totally adorable! I love how 8 of 8 is rawkin the baby mohawk, and 7 of 8's smile is infectious!

ReplyDeleteAdorable... Love the pic...
ReplyDeleteBTW-yep my marathon is 10 days away!!! I'm confident that I'll finish, but I'm nervous about my time! I'm hoping to eventually complete 10--this will be 6 down. Next one is Disney in January, then I'll take a break... for a few months.
ReplyDeleteThanks for always coming to check my site. It makes me happy. Please say a few prayers for my husband who is at Mayo (Clinic, MN) this week... he's sick, but I don't blog about it. I have a feeling that your prayers will help! :-)
Hahaha! Silence is never golden in toddlerville.
ReplyDeleteOh my, they are so cute!!
ReplyDeleteOH! so adorable! I LOVE them!
ReplyDeleteLet's see....credit for cuteness, check.

Those two are so darling!!! That smug little look on her face in that last shot! Oh my! You have some very adorable kiddos, Octamom -- and I'm including those that were working hard too. :)

ReplyDeleteVery cute! Very Funny! Love the suspense! And love the color in your blog!
ReplyDeleteSo cute...quite is never a good sign. S
ReplyDeleteHa! My babies have those same dinosaur jammies and they LOVE the tupperware cupboard too!
ReplyDeleteYou are so blessed. :) What a wonderful memory and what a wonderful way for you to keep those memories alive. (Do you print off your blog?) I have been teary lately looking at pictures and reading others blogs and watching the kids at church. Time just goes by too quickly. (We are still awaiting a foster grandchild!!) (our daughter and son in law are about to go crazy!) Maybe it will help when I can spoil a new baby. I sure do miss mine. :) Thank you for keeping children alive for my eyes to see. :) (A lot of children) :) Bless you for home schooling!!! It looks so fun now-----if I could just go back. :)I had a wonderful 18+ years with both of mine at home. Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy as I know you do.
ReplyDeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeleteThat look like something my 2 yr old would do. Then when I say, "Sam why did you _____, he says "Youra (Laura) did it." Usually she is still sleeping when he blames her. Laura is a night owl like my hubby and does not get up until 8 am or later.. Sam is up by 7, ready to go and make a mess...
