6 of 8 spotted a pesky fly yesterday and hollered for her sister to get the 'Fly Smacker'--I love that, the Fly Smacker--sounds so much more decisive than 'swatter'. After said fly was dispatched by big sis, 6 of 8 began looking for the carcass. When she couldn't find it, she said, "Oh, it must have gone up to heaven." We may have a whole new theology after this...

What a beautiful little girl! Love her big, bright eyes...We had a fly problem too on our back porch and they would try to get in when we opened the kitchen door. My hubby bought some glue strip things you hang from the ceiling by the door so when they fly around and land on them, they are stuck there! They do work, but not 100%. I love the fly smacker name...Keep on murdering, I say...flys are useless pests...

ReplyDeleteThanks for checking on me!! I am pretty well all healed now!! Have not jogged since. I am gonna have to find another way to get in shape. I took the Dr. Oz age test from Oprah and it said I was 48.5 and I am just turning 48!! I was hoping to be 29!!! :)
